Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026 - Collective Media

Collective Media is committed to making our website accessible to everyone - regardless of ability, device, or how people choose to access the web. This statement applies to collectivemedia.digital.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.

We know we don't always get it right. If you find anything difficult to use, we want to know.

What we've done

  • Used semantic HTML elements throughout - headings, navigation, sections, and landmarks are properly structured
  • Provided alt text on all meaningful images
  • Ensured colour contrast meets minimum WCAG AA ratios across the site
  • Made all navigation accessible by keyboard
  • Ensured the site is readable and functional at 200% zoom
  • Used descriptive link text throughout - no "click here" or ambiguous labels
  • Ensured forms have clearly labelled fields

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:

  • Some interactive elements such as the sector image carousel on the Who We Are page may not be fully operable by keyboard alone
  • Some decorative SVG graphics may not be fully described for screen reader users
  • The contact form confirmation message may not be announced automatically by all screen readers

We are actively working to address these and will update this statement as improvements are made.

Technical information

Collective Media is committed to making this website accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. This site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA due to the known limitations listed above.

How we tested this site

We tested this website using a combination of automated tools and manual review. Testing was carried out on desktop and mobile browsers including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. We used keyboard-only navigation testing and reviewed colour contrast ratios manually.
